Misc. Notes
1. Taken from an email from Mary IVEY Krammer, Dec 2001: “Henry Clay Ivey enlisted in the 18th Kansas Cavalry Battalion July 4, 1867, arrived at Ft. Harker, KS July 15, 1867, and died of cholera there July 23, 1867, during an epidemic, and a shameful episode of military history. I went to the fort and read the sad story. He is buried at Ft. Leavenworth.”
