1. He learned the Taylor trade in Philadelphia, and followed this occupation after removing to Chester, in Chester county, Pennsylvania. We learn from the records of Chester county that he conveyed land by deed to others at different times, which indicates that he was a land owner also. Letters of Administration were granted on his estate, to his wife, Sarah Howell, June 28, 1734. [48]
